Fire board 1200 x 2400 x 12.5mm fibres act as reinforcement to keep the board from disintegrating as quickly as a regular drywall would. This combination makes for a solid barrier against the possibilities of fire. It is highly fire-resistant and when installed in the walls of your home, it can prevent a fire from spreading quickly from one room to another.
Fire board 1200 x 2400 x 12.5mm is a fleece-lined plasterboard which provides up to 2 hours of fire protection in structural steel encasement. Non-combustible Knauf Fireboard provides the basis for a range of steel encasement and specialist lining systems.
The Fire board’s excellent fire resistance rating makes it ideal for lining walls and ceilings in commercial spaces like offices and shopping centres, as well as in low rise housing and new build garages.
